This page describes the current implementation. IPScanner.Pro is in development; public downloads and the hosted organization service are not yet available.

On your computer

The desktop Agent performs discovery locally after you authorize the selected network. The current desktop workflow is Local Only. Its inventory does not enter a cloud upload path. Local monitoring requires a separate assignment and authorization.

History and exports

Retained Local Only history is encrypted, with keys protected by macOS Keychain or Windows DPAPI. Retention defaults to 30 days, with Never, 7, 30, 90 days and Unlimited choices. Exported CSV and JSON files contain the data you select and are not encrypted by the export feature; you control where they are saved and shared.

Browser previews

The scanner and organization previews use illustrative data. They do not scan your network or activate a local Agent. The interface stores your theme preference in your browser. This website does not include advertising trackers or an analytics SDK. A hosting provider may process ordinary connection and access logs when the website is hosted.

Cloud services in development

Managed Cloud is intended to store service-readable inventory for organization features. Private Cloud is intended to store encrypted inventory without giving the service its decryption key. Neither mode is enabled by the current desktop workflow. Inventory sharing and diagnostics consent must remain separate.

Before public launch

The contact and vulnerability-reporting channels above are published, and the operator confirmed on 12 September 2026 that both addresses receive mail. The operator’s legal identity, hosting retention rules, and the reviewed privacy notice and terms must still be finalized before public launch. This development explanation does not replace that notice.
