The public download is not open yet. Builds for macOS on Apple silicon and for Windows x64 exist and are being tested privately while code signing is completed, because an unsigned scanner is exactly the kind of thing you should not install. Ask below and we will email you the day it opens.
The current 0.8.0 build is ad-hoc signed, which macOS refuses to open without bypassing Gatekeeper, so it is not something to hand to a tester. A Developer ID signature with notarization is the next step, and the 0.8.0 build predates the current discovery and Full ports work in any case.
The x64 package is unsigned, and the desktop UI and the Agent require matching, trusted signatures before they exchange a single message, so an unsigned package cannot run. There is no signed Windows artifact for testers yet, and native Windows acceptance is still outstanding.
This page renders the same release manifest the tester channel uses, so a platform can only show a download here once a real, correctly signed artifact exists. A missing button is the honest state, never a broken install.
Choose a detected interface or type a private range, pick Quick, Balanced or Thorough, and watch rows appear while the scan is still running. Cancel the moment you have what you need.
Each device shows the services that answered and the page titles collected from them. Full ports checks all 65,535 TCP ports on devices you select, after showing the exact work it will take.
Vendor, category and model come with the evidence behind them, so a guess reads as a guess. Private and randomised MAC addresses are left unattributed instead of being invented.
Local Only scanning needs no account and uploads no inventory. Retained history is encrypted on disk, with keys held by the operating system keychain, and export to CSV or JSON is yours whenever you want it.

The browser demo is the real workspace running on sample data. It cannot reach your network, and it needs nothing installed. If you are here because you searched for an online scanner, this page explains why no web page can scan a local network, including ours. The scanner for an individual is free-first: local discovery, Full ports, evidence, history and export are the product, not a trial. Paid organisation features — shared inventory, sites, team access and alerts — are planned separately and are not needed to scan your own network.
When each platform has a signature its operating system accepts: Developer ID with notarization on macOS, Authenticode on Windows. We are not publishing a date we cannot keep. Ask to be notified and you will hear on the day rather than from a guess on this page.
Because you would have to bypass your own operating system to run it, and teaching people to do that is a bad habit to encourage. The macOS build is ad-hoc signed, which Gatekeeper refuses, and the Windows desktop and its Agent will not exchange a single message unless both carry matching trusted signatures.
No. Local scanning works with no account and no cloud connection. That is an architectural decision, not a plan setting.
Yes. The browser demo shows the real workspace with sample data. It makes no network requests of its own and cannot scan anything, so it is a safe way to see whether the layout suits you.
