IPScanner.Pro 0.8.0 is a free public beta for macOS on Apple silicon and Windows x64. Neither build is notarized or code-signed yet, so your operating system will warn you on first launch; each download below says exactly what you will see and how to continue, and carries a SHA-256 checksum to verify the file first.

Each device shows the services that answered and the page titles collected from them. Full ports checks all 65,535 TCP ports on devices you select, after showing the exact work it will take.
Vendor, category and model come with the evidence behind them, so a guess reads as a guess. Private and randomised MAC addresses are left unattributed instead of being invented.
Local Only scanning needs no account and uploads no inventory. Retained history is stored as readable JSON in the user’s local app-data directory, and export to CSV or JSON is yours whenever you want it.

The browser demo is the real workspace running on sample data. It cannot reach your network, and it needs nothing installed. If you are here because you searched for an online scanner, this page explains why no web page can scan a local network, including ours. The scanner for an individual is free-first: local discovery, Full ports, evidence, history and export are the product, not a trial. Paid organisation features — shared inventory, sites, team access and alerts — are planned separately and are not needed to scan your own network.
Because the beta is not notarized by Apple or signed with an Authenticode certificate yet. On macOS, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway once. On Windows, SmartScreen shows “Windows protected your PC”: choose More info, then Run anyway. Check the SHA-256 checksum first, so you know the file is the one we published.
Not quite. A signed build lets the desktop app and its Agent verify each other’s signature before exchanging a message. The unsigned portable beta skips that check, so it relies on both programs running from the same folder. A Microsoft Store version, which Windows verifies for you, is planned.
No. Local scanning works with no account and no cloud connection. That is an architectural decision, not a plan setting.
Yes. The browser demo shows the real workspace with sample data. It makes no network requests of its own and cannot scan anything, so it is a safe way to see whether the layout suits you.
